CHARITY

Having an adventure we’ll never forget is one thing. But helping others while we're at it?

SUPER COOL!

The idea behind all S.A.C rallies:

Each team is required to raise min. €500 for charity in order to participate in the rally. Half of that money will go to projects that S.A.C. have carefully vetted to ensure that all contributions go where they should—to the people who truly need them. With the other half, we are free to pick a charity of our choice to donate to.

Even the smallest donation from you is important to us and will help. THANK YOU!

Charity projects S.A.C. supports:

The official charity partners of The European 5000 Rally are: Sage Hospital e.V., Deepwave e.V., Autonome Jugendwerkstätten Hamburg e.V. Deutsche Lebensbrücke e.V., Moebius Syndrom Deutschland e.V. , Die Arche e.V.

Project we especially support: Deepwave e.V and SyltKlinik

Our Earth is a planet of water

60 percent of the surface belongs to the high- and deepsea. This ecosystem is the largest realm on earth for millions of plants and animals, a major force in global climate dynamics. It is also a rich area for food production and a resource for the growing demands of the increasing world population.

DEEPWAVE is dedicated to the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems and the species they sustain, through the development of innovative technologies, and conservation action based on scientific developments.

DEEPWAVE wishes to

  1. enhance awareness for marine environmental threats

  2. exert pressure on political parties in order to develop further solutions.

  3. spread the scientific results of environmental research.

  4. give an organisational framework & platform for information & opinion on marine conservational issues.

See you on the next wave!

The SyltKlinik is a modern rehabilitation center with the aim to ensure that children and their families are supported and well cared for on their journey with cancer. The aim is that the kids are able to recover again and that their quality of life and future prospects are not inferior to other children. With a safe medical background by trained specialists, psychologists and a large team of physiotherapists and educators the kids will get the best treatment but they wont get one of those run-of-the-mill rehabs.

For example, during the summer months the SyltKlinik offers therapeutic surfing sessions under a physician's instructions. This therapy, unique in Germany, improves the concentration, the muscular balance and strenght capacity of the spine. The common experience in the water promotes and supports the kids in coming to terms with their illness and strengthens self-esteem.
